making wine in clay jugs

Luxist, whom I have never heard of previously, has a blurb on a winemaker who is using 300 year old clay jars to make wine. Kind of interesting...

If he wants an 'earthy taste' he should be using North American grapes... seems rather gimmicky!

If you want to try something that reminded me of a Cab, try St. James Norton. Surprising.

(BTW have been reading your blog for since your last post of your tech blog... lovin it!)

Hey, how are you?

St. James? Really? I'm skeptical. The winery page doesn't even tell me what grape goes in to it.

I am doing very well (I am married now!) I was very skeptical when my buddy passed me a glass of it. But the norton grape is definatly my favorite native species. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norton_%28grape%29

mmm yummy!

Oh, yeah, you know it's going to be good when it is descended from a grape variety called "bland." :)

Well, next time I'm in Missouri I'll have to give it a try.

Do you have a link to a page with wedding photos?
